Dr. John Meyers was raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida  and has lived and worked in the Tampa Bay area for over 45 years. He attended high school at Clearwater Central Catholic. After graduation he went on to pursue his dream of becoming an Optometrist at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He received  his bachelor's degree from Ferris State University. He achieved his doctorate from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. He later returned to Florida after graduation and four years of practicing in Michigan. In 2003 he opened Dr.Meyers and Associates, his first practice inside Lenscrafters inside Gulfview Square Mall in Port Richey, Florida. Two years later he opened  his second office inside Lenscrafters on Sunset Pointe Road in Clearwater.When not working Dr.Meyers enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children and his 2 dogs. He is an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan and enjoys watching and attending games when he can. Golfing is also a passion that he tries to enjoy when he can.
